The 2012 incoming class is taking shape. Here’s a small look at the class to date. Highlight tapes have been included when possible.

Bobby Steinman – Defense – Stoneman Douglas – Florida

Tom Delany – Midfield – Fremd – Illinois

John Nigh – Attack – Loyola Academy – Illinois

Nick Hylant – Attack – Western Reserve – Ohio

Jake Frimet – Midfield – Staples – Connecticut

The basketball team is referring to their 2012 class as The Movement as in, “the migration of top tier talent to Bloomington.” We’re not ready to call our 2012 incomers The Movement just yet, but we’re very close. We need to be in the 18-25 recruit range to in order to replace our graduating seniors and an essentially a non existent junior class. There’s yet work to be done on the recruiting trail.

The season opens Friday March 2nd in Indianapolis. We expect with a great showing we could have a few more commitments by the end of the weekend. It’s amazing how student-athletes from all over the country want to come to Bloomington. That’s just the power of IU.
