Freshman attackman Brent Balek recorded a hat trick and added two assists. He now has 37 points on the season.
Despite being shut off for a majority of the game, sophomore middei Alex Eaton scored three times. He now has 44 points on the season.
Eight of thirteen goals were scored by Carmel High School graduates.
Sophomore middie Chris Lanciotti scored once and battled all day at the face off x (8 of 13). His four wins in the 3rd quarter helped put the game out of reach.
Sophmore Jake Thomas played his fourth game in the midfield after starting the season at attack. He scored twice and added an assist.
Senior goalie Peter Moore made 11 saves. His save percentage for the season is .696.
The man up unit only converted 1 of 9 opportunities.
Nine players have 10+ points. Six players have 23+ points.
The first midfield has accounted for 62 goals. The starting attack unit has scored 69 times. We’ve never had this kind of offensive balance or fire power since I’ve been here.
Indiana improved to 10-2. This is our first 10 win season since the 2006 team went 10-6. Our two losses have come in overtime.
For the second year in a row, we have doubled our wins total.

Purdue defeated IU 7-3 or 8-3 in the fall. We could see them again in the GRLC tournament.

The Hoosiers are off for a weekend before finishing the season at Illinois. IU hasn’t defeated Illinois since 2008.
The GRLC tournament will take place in May at Lindenwood Belleville in Illinois.
Indiana will only graduate two players in 2013, Peter Moore and Kyle Kostecka.
