Major: SPEA Management w/ Marketing & Entrepreneurship Minors

Why I came to Indiana: I was originally going to be at a small East Coast School for lacrosse, but wanted the big ‘Ra-Ra’ fun school, with great academics and a superior social aspect

My favorite lacrosse moment from 2011: I loved the great victory against rival Purdue. We had such a strong fan base and so many friends came to watch a great game with a great win!

My favorite off field moment from 2011: Honestly, while traveling so frequently during the spring semester, I would have to say that getting to know all the younger guys and new faces during the epic bus rides had its fun and funny moments. I also enjoyed team dinners and other social gatherings.

IU lacrosse is different than high school lacrosse because: It is a whole different level of competition. Imagine taking the best few guys from each high school team all over the country and having them combine to make college teams.

What’s one thing people should know about the MCLA: The MCLA is great because it is extremely competitive, but not as demanding as a D1 program; it allows players to play hard and improve while not losing sight of the real reason they choose to lax, ‘cuz its fun!

My game stick is: I started out the season using the Warrior EvoX, but made the switch to Brine Clutch

My pocket is: Hard Mesh strung high with not a lot of whip

In 2011-2012, I am most looking forward to: seeing everyone return and improve upon last year, while meeting and including a whole new freshman class into our IU lacrosse team family. I know we’ll be a stronger team, with a great coaching staff and an improved record to show for it. Plus, we always have a good time!

To Readers:

I am a senior at Indiana University and have been a part of this program going on my 4th year. I have watched it grow and continue to hope for the best for it. I love the team, the camaraderie, and all the guys who I’ve grown close with because it it…plus, you get to play the best sport, and chicks love laxbros…
